Young Bent Tree on the Edge of Island Creek

A small dark tree with an interesting bent shape clings to the bank of Island Creek in the Croatan National Forest. The lighter trees and bright sky produces a pleasing contrast. The view is from a hking trail that runs next to the woodland stream.
