Old Barn in Eastern NC

I came upon this old barn while returning home from a trip to the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park in Eastern North Carolina. There is something about these old structures, broken and scarred, that I find very appealing. Even though time has taken its toll on them, they stand, weakened but still erect. Perhaps symbolic of my own life, worn and tattered but still alive and standing tall.
