Standing Watch - OLd Barn in Ruins in Rural NC

An old barn stands watch over a field in eastern North Carolina. Found along Highway 55 in Wayne county, this decaying structure still offers a lot of visual appeal. With some of its metal roof bent and twisted and a definite lean to the structure, it was probably once a hub of activity on a family farm. Scenes such as this are a reminder of simpler times long gone.
