Near Totality - May 2022 Lunar Eclipse

The night of May 15 and 16, 2022 there was a total eclipse of the moon. This is one of my favorite images I made of that astronomical event due to the star peeking out from behind the moon in the lower left-hand quadrant This even was especially interesting for amatuer astronomers and star watchers beacuse the eclipse happened during a super moon. This was a rare phenomia indeed.
